Codelco reaches deals with Radomiro Tomic copper workers

Chile’s Codelco has reached deals with unionized workers at its Radomiro Tomic copper mine, averting the risk of a strike at the division, the company said April 5. Following talks over the weekend, management reached a threeyear deal with the plant administration, which represents 109 workers at the open pit operation. It follows the signing last week of a deal with the 719-strong Radomiro Tomic workers union. The Radomiro Tomic mine produced 260,653 mt of copper last year.
