Roger Morris is a coastal management specialist with non-vocational interests in Diptera and Hymenoptera. He is Field Meetings Secretary for Dipterists Forum and is joint organiser of the Hoverfly Recording Scheme. He is a FRES, CEnv. and FIEEM. Stuart Ball is Chief Analyst at the UK Joint Nature Conservation Committee. He gained his PhD at Newcastle University before Joining the Nature Conservancy Council in 1985. He is joint organiser of the Hoverfly Recording Scheme and is vice-Chairman of Dipterists Forum.
