Pittsburgh—After obsolete ferrous scrap prices declined in February on strong supply and a weakened export market, the March price outlook is firming as several factors are bolstering price expectations, according to market sources. Winter weather and lower inbound pricing are heard to be successfully lowing obsolete flows. In addition, the export market may be turning the corner with several new US deals to Turkey during the week of Feb. 8 at higher levels.
