Pittsburgh—US plate prices remained rangebound at a twelve-year high on March 25 as buyers waited for mills to open May order books. The daily Platts TSI US plate index moved $6.25 higher week on week to $1,158.50/st on a delivered Midwest basis March 25. In total, plate prices have gained over $600 after ten rounds of price hikes since August 2020.
