Singapore—H2 ferrous scrap export cargoes concluded in the monthly Japanese Kanto Tetsugen’s January tender Jan. 13, saw its winning price surging $56/mt from December, and yet again pushing above the spot markets’ expected levels, tender participants said Jan. 13. The sole winner concluded 15,000 mt of H2 scrap at Yen 44,751/mt ($432/mt), up Yen 5,841/mt from the highest winning bid in December, for February shipment, tender participants said.
