Singapore—Taiwanese electric arc furnace steelmaker Feng Hsin Iron and Steel has kept its local bids for ferrous scrap unchanged in the week to April 26, as it awaits further market clarity after recent dips in the seaborne market, a source from the mill told S&P Global Platts. The company’s bid for domestic HMS I/II 80:20 grades was unchanged week on week at T$11,700/mt ($419/mt), for deliveries to its Taichung mill, and excluding value-added tax.
