Pemex Makes Gains in Priority Fields

Mexican state producer Pemex said it reached a new production high from its priority fields in the first quarter. The company reported that output at its top two dozen or so projects rose to 163,800 b/d by the end of March. Output had previously been delayed by weather and construction. Production is expected to continue climbing this year as more wells are brought on line, executives said, without providing details.
