Players Make Decarbonization Plans for LNG Projects

Venture Global and Pieridae Energy are the latest North American LNG developers to decarbonize via carbon capture and storage (CCS). The announcements come two months after competitor NextDecade revealed it would capture and sequester carbon at its proposed 27 million ton/yr Rio Grande LNG export terminal in south Texas. Like NextDecade, Venture Global and Pieridae are eager to avoid buyer resistance on environmental grounds.
