Crucial Ruling on Mountain Valley Coming Down Chute

Mountain Valley Pipeline(MVP)might be facing a key crossroads this week when a federal appeals court either clears or blocks construction on the remaining piece of the long-stalled project. A coalition of greens led by the Sierra Club has asked the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals for a preliminary injunction against MVP resuming work pending the review of three favorable orders that restored some critical permits. Those include the Jan. 8 US Forest Service decision to renew its approval for MVP to cross the Jefferson National Forest.
