North American LNG Activity Picks Up the Pace

Tellurian has signed a medium-term sales and purchase agreement with Dutch trading house Vitol, the second offtake contract signed in the past two weeks by the struggling would-be US exporter. Activity at Tellurian, as well as at other long-dormant North American LNG projects, is picking up as the economy transitions out of the Covid-19 economy, which suggests that the US and Canada may yet try to keep pace with huge LNG expansion plans in Qatar and Russia (NGW May3l'2l).
