India: IPL DAP deal reported in high $590s/t CFR

India’s IPL is understood to have purchased a 50,000 t DAP cargo from Midgulf ex-China in the high $590s/t CFR after credit. The deal represents a near $50/t loss to sell the DAP inland at the current DAP maximum retail price and nutrient-based subsidy. It is up from sales around $590/t CFR two or three weeks ago.
