India: MOP stocks faltering on low contract volumes

India’s MOP inventories continue to drift lower on the back of low arrivals of contract volumes from overseas producers, according to Department of Fertilizers (DoF) data. Countrywide stocks dipped a further 2% over the last week to 1.46 Mt as of 26 May. They are now 562,000 t or 28% lower than they were at the start of 2021, having declined most weeks since.
