Some price assessments for sulphuric acid deals increased again this week, although a lack of availability meant that new spot deals were few and far between. The key assessment change this week was to the Brazil CFR range, which jumped to $100- 120/t CFR from $65-75/t. Mosaic reportedly purchased around $120/t CFR, although this was not yet confirmed. This follows Unigel's earlier purchase from India around $120/t CFR and the award of Bunge Argentina's tender heard in the $120s/t CFR.
