Ma’aden spot availability helps lift Middle East ammonia price

Ma’aden rejoined the spot market this week despite the turnaround that is ongoing in Saudi Arabia, and the Middle East FOB spot price was given a significant lift upwards. Initially, 10,000 t was sold early this week at $400/t FOB to a Far East destination and then 11 March a Chinese buyer stepped in to buy 6,000 t at $500/t CFR which Ma’aden netted back to $440/t FOB.
