India: Industry pressures government over DAP NBS

The Indian fertilizer industry is lobbying the government to increase its provisional allocation for the P and K Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) to support the DAP market. The Department of Fertilizers is rumoured to have proposed a near INR 3,000/t ($41/t) rise in the DAP MRP to the government for the 2021/22 fertilizer year starting 1 April.
