Spot prices for sulphur cargoes to Brazil were assessed up at $220-225/t CFR from $210- 215/t, as higher freights pushed up prices on recent business. One sale was reported this week in the low $220s/t CFR for a cargo from the Middle East. Buyers had been resisting prices higher than $210/t CFR, but freight rate increases combined with firm downstream markets and balanced availability have pushed delivered prices up.
