US NOLA: Inland rain still slowing barge interest

Despite the reopening of barge navigation through to the Twin Cities in Minnesota, buyers have not been tempted back to the barge market for DAP early this week. Rain in the US interior is not as intense as last week, but it is preventing fields from drying out sufficiently to allow field work to restart. This has left the last confirmed DAP barge sale at $542/st FOB New Orleans for late March or H1 April.
