Taiwan: Ammonia supply issues avoided

The tragedy that struck on board the Hamburg DW this week enroute from Iran could create supply issues for CPDC. The vessel was due to discharge 16,500 t ammonia into Taichung mid-April. Reports 8 April suggested that the vessel could shortly get under way and, if this is the case, would reach Taichung by 17-18 April but investigations into an accident of this sort could take considerable time to resolve.
