US Midwest: Short MAP supply still driving prices higher

The cost of MAP in the Midwest truck market increased $15-18/st this week, with sellers raising offers with just about every sale. By the end of the week business was confirmed at $625-640/st FOB from the Ohio River, Nebraska and in Minnesota. Distributors said end users that hesitated to buy MAP earlier this season also are finding fewer alternatives, with DAP and NPS products in tight supply.
