Freight and MOP price increases jumble netbacks

Potash producer netbacks were again hit by big increases in some freights over the past week, though others increased due to higher spot price assessments for Brazil and Southeast Asia. Brazil’s granular MOP spot prices increased an average of $10/t week on week to $300-315/t CFR while Southeast Asia’s standard MOP prices firmed an average of $3/t to $250-260/t CFR.
