Adnoc advances blue ammonia efforts in UAE

The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced plans to develop a 1 Mt/year blue ammonia facility in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, bolstering efforts to explore hydrogen value chains across the Gulf region. The facility is currently in its design phase at the TA’ZIZ industrial ecosystem, located in the Ruwais Derivates Park in the western region of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and aims to build on the UAE’s position as a major holder of low-carbon natural-gas reserves.
