Sulphuric acid prices continued to firm this week, although buyers were not yet willing to accept some of the higher offers emerging in the market. Recent business to India was reported in the $120s/t CFR, and many traders argue that any upcoming deals will have to come at higher prices due to increasing FOB prices and freight rates, particularly as some vessel owners are reluctant to land in India over Covid-19 concerns.
