Granular urea postings are reported at $430-435/st FOB this week in the Southern Plains, a $5/st higher average price compared to the prior week, according to market participants. Sellers reported higher prices were supported by retailers with demand from growers planning on boosting applications to corn and other crops. These expectations have not changed even though some crop values have declined since the start of May.
