Netbacks boosted by China contract and spot gains

Potash netback assessments have been boosted further by BPC’s settlement of a fresh China import contract price at $247/t CFR as well as rises in spot prices. The new China contract price was agreed up $27/t from the prior level. Brazil’s granular MOP spot market was pegged up $15/t further this week at $285-290/t CFR, while Southeast Asia standard MOP spot prices firmed $5/t on the lower end of the range to $240-255/t CFR.
