Spot prices for sulphur sales to India were assessed down at $215-220/t CFR from $225- 230/t as PPL's latest purchase tender went around the low end of the range. PPL awarded its 13 July tender for 35,000 t to a trader around $214-215/t CFR, the trader said. As previously reported, CIL is understood to have purchased a 25,000 t lot in the $225-230/t CFR range in early June.
