Tellurian makes it two SPAs in a week after Vitol signs up for new offering

US LNG player Tellurian has signed a second sales and purchase agreements (SPA) in the space of week after Vitol signed up for 3 mtpa under a 10-year deal – mirroring the SPA signed with Gunvor last week. The deal with Vitol is five years shorter than what the firms had originally agreed under a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in December 2018, with Tellurian having signaled at the time that Vitol was evaluating a potential equity investment.
