Tellurian and TotalEnergies terminate Driftwood LNG agreements

Tellurian has terminated a proposed stock and LNG purchase agreement with French energy major TotalEnergies, the US LNG developer confirmed this week. The cancellation was widely expected after Tellurian’s co-founder and executive chairman Charif Souki alluded to problems with the proposed deal in recent weeks, with Tellurian having now lost a proposed offtaker for its planned Driftwood LNG plant.
