Petroleum coke prices continued rising this week on a wave of strong global commodities demand and continued tight supply in the near term. Although US Gulf coke production is starting to grow on stronger refining operations and particularly good coker margins, refiners have been catching up on delayed contracted cargoes, and June spot cargo availability is slim to none.
