Canadian crude fows to Texas fell in May: EIA

Imports of Canadian crude into the US rose by 2pc in May from April, but fows to Texas fell as arbitrage opportunities nar- rowed. The US imported 3.5mn b/d of Canadian crude in May, up by 72,000 b/d from April, according to the Energy Informa-tion Administration (EIA). May represents a 10pc gain from the same month last year when the frst wave of the Covid-19 pandemic sapped downstream demand.
