BP restarting Gelsenkirchen Scholven refnery

BP has completed maintenance at the Scholven plant of its 265,000 b/d Gelsenkirchen refnery in northwest Germany and the unit is starting up two weeks later than planned. The shutdown in Gelsenkirchen began on 15 May and was supposed to last around eight weeks. Scholven is the larger part of the Gelsenkirchen complex, which also includes the Horst plant.
