Climate Pressure Rises for Woodside, Santos

Activist investors are stepping up pressure on oil and gas companies in Australia to move their businesses away from fossil fuels. Some 19% of shareholders at Woodside Energy and Santos have supported resolutions asking the Australian independents to make plans to wind up their oil and gas operations over “a time frame consistent with the Paris goals."
