Libya Plans New Upstream Contract Terms

Libya’s National Oil Corp. (NOC) is looking at updating its fiscal terms in an effort to attract international oil companies to the North African country. NOC is hopeful that an upcoming peace conference in Berlin may help create some stability and security, and attract foreign capital to develop its hydrocarbon resources and rebuild the oil industry after years of civil war (IOD Jun.4’21).
