Russia Produced Above Expanded Quota in January

Russia’s production of crude oil and gas condensate rose by nearly 1% in January as the country continued to pump more than it agreed to under its expanded Opec-plus quota. Preliminary data from the Russian energy ministry showed that output of crude oil and condensate rose to 10.145 million barrels per day (42.964 million metric tons) in the first month of the year from 10.045 million b/d in December. However, January output was 10.3% lower than in the same month of last year.
