Sinopec Fleshes Out Hydrogen Plans, Bullish on Gas

China’s biggest refiner, Hong Kong-listed Sinopec Corp, has started to firm up its previously fuzzy hydrogen plans with some hard numbers for the 2021-25 planning period. Sinopec President Ma Yongsheng said on Monday that the company plans to invest 30 billion yuan ($4.6 billion) in the entire hydrogen supply chain in 2021-25 from research and development (R&D) through to retail fueling stations.
