South Korea’s imports of Saudi crude tumbled in July, continuing a trend that has resulted in a considerable decline in the country’s purchases of Saudi crude so far this year. South Korea is one of the world’s biggest crude importers and a major Asian refining hub and exporter of oil products. The country landed just 615,000 b/d of Saudi crude in July, which was down by more than 100,000 b/d from June, according to data from Korea National Oil Corp. (KNOC).
