Gasoline gains ground

1.Gulf coast gasoline prices rose on indications of rapidly increasing demand.Atlantic coast prices also firmed,opening the arbitrage to ship Gulf coast Cbob along the Colonial Pipeline to the New York Harbor market for the first time in four weeks on 30 June(see graph).Arbitrage economics remained unviable for shipping Gulf coast diesel to northeast and midcontinent markets.
