Sinopec says that its subsidiaries Shanghai Petrochemical and Baling Petrochemical will establish a joint venture (JV) to produce styrene thermoplastic elastomer new materials such as styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS); styrene-, ethylene-, and butylene-based block copolymers (SEBS); styrene-ethylene- propylene-styrene (SEPS); and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
