Air Products earnings flat

Air Products reported net income of $487 million for the quarter ended 31 December, fat with year-ago results on COVID-19 impacts. Sales were $2.4 billion, up 5% year on year (YOY) on stronger price and favorable currency impacts. Volume was down 1% YOY as new plants, acquisitions, and increased sale-of- equipment activities were ofset by lower demand from COVID-19 and a reduced contribution from the Lu’An gasifcation project in Asia.
