Clariant becomes sole owner of Brazilian natural ingredients firm

Clariant says it has signed an agreement to acquire the remaining 70% in Beraca (Sao Paulo, Brazil) from the founding Sabara family. Clariant has held a 30% stake in the company since 2015 and with this agreement it seizes full control of Beraca. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2021, the company says. Financial details have not been disclosed.
