LG Chem, TK Chemical form alliance to produce biodegradable plastics

LG Chem has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with TK Chemical (Seoul) to produce polybutylene adipate- co-terephthalate (PBAT). The companies plan to sign the main contract within the year, establish a PBAT production line, and begin output by the second half of 2022.
