W.R. Grace completes Albemarle contract manufacturing acquisition

W.R. Grace says it has completed its acquisition of Albemarle’s fne chemistry services (FCS) business, a contract manufacturer for the pharma, fne chemicals, and agchems segments, among others. The $570-million deal was announced in March, and includes $300 million in cash and $270 million in non-preferred equity of a newly created Grace subsidiary issued to Albemarle.
