Air Liquide finalizes acquisition of ASUs from Sasol

Air Liquide says it has finalized its previously announced acquisition from Sasol (Johannesburg) of 16 air separation units (ASUs) at Sasol's synfuel and chemicals operating hub in Secunda, South Africa. The deal was first announced in July last year. Approximately 8 billion South African rand ($561 million) will be invested initially by Air Liquide at the world's largest oxygen production site, which it will operate.
