Colloid cysts of the third ventricle in children

OBJECTIVE The rarity of colloid cysts in children makes it difficult to characterize this entity and offer meaningful ad- vice on treatment. Infrequent case reports exist, but to date there has been no age-specific assessment. The purpose of this study was to define any differences between children and adults who are evaluated and treated for colloid cysts of the third ventricle.
