Demand for import iron ore may strengthen in China

Demand for import raw materials did not grow after the end of national holidays inChina in mid-October. By the end of month prices for Indian concentrate (63.5% Fe)have dropped to $134-136/t C&F from $178-180/t C&F last month, while those forAustralian (62% Fe) and Brazilian fines (64.5% Fe) . by $40-45/t to $125-126/t C&Fand $145/t C&F, respectively.
