Prices start rising again

Pressed by growing production costs and anticipating a seasonal improvement ofdemand, CIS suppliers of HR products keep raising prices. CIS hot-roled coils are tradedat $540-615/t fob Black Sea ports, up $10-40/t from mid-January. Asian exporters alsostarted increasing HRC prices after the New Year.s holidays - in the last week of Februaryexport offers from China went up by $20-30/tonne, to $550-580/tonne FOB, and evensucceeded in sugning contracts.
