voestalpine deploys emiss ion reduction tech nology at new plant

Austria's voestalpine has announced installation of a high-capacity heat recovery system at Kapfenberg site within the most advanced special steel plant (205,000 tpy) construction project. According to the steelmaker's press release, use of the waste heat utilizing technology is targeted to substantially reduce CO2 emissions and improve energy and resource efficiency.
