India's Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) has almost completed installation of a new 3.2 million tpy BF at Angul plant in Odisha state, a company representative told Metal Expert. The unit's commissioning is planned in coming months.The unit will be fed with raw materials from the new sinter plant (some 4 million tpy) and coking plant (about 3.6 million tpy) to come on stream simultaneously with the BF.
