US Stimulus Package Buoys Oil Prices

Oil prices saw further gains after US President Joe Biden fnally signed his $1.9 trillion economic stimulus package into law. The American Rescue Plan Act will put hundreds of billions of dollars into the hands of US consumers and accelerate the eco- nomic recovery in the world’s largest oil market. The OECD has already said the US economy could grow by over 3% this year thanks to the stimulus bill and an accelerated Covid-19 vacci- nation program.
