Refners in the US say demand for refned products is improving rapidly across the country, especially relative to other regions. But one product lags behind the recovery of ground transport fuels. Jet fuel consumption looks set to fall short of 2019 levels as the Covid-19 pandemic continues to play out diferently within and outside of North America. That makes aviation fuel the only stumbling block on the path toward higher crude throughput (JFI Mar.12’21).
