Precision Drilling Long Parts

I'm about halfway through building my third CNC router/mill. This is the second one made mainly using 80/20 aluminum extrusions. When mounting parts to the T-slot extrusions, most users employ the regular T-nuts, which are about 1/2" long. But, 80/20 also sells T-nut steel bars cut to just about any (reasonable) length you want, I use these to mount my linear slide rails. 80/20 will also custom drill these bars to your specifications, but I prefer to do this myself. I have done it on the drill press but was not overly happy with the results - mainly due to operator issues!
